The Integrated Master Plan (PMP) is an important program management tool that lists key milestones of the program in a hierarchical fashion in a manner that it can provide a direction of the overall activities from start to finish. The IMP is usually created as part of the program planning activities. The IMP differs from the IMS in that the IMS adds on a schedule component and is much more detailed.
