Change Management in the context of project management is an organizational discipline and process that refers to managing all aspects of bringing change to an organization. Change Management refers to the methodical approach of introducing a change within the organization. It includes all the processes, people, systems, and the decision-making framework that an organization may use to bring about change within the organization. Change Management includes planning, initiating, controlling, monitoring, and tracking changes within the organization. The scope of change management can be small such as managing changes within a small sized project or it can be large such as bringing large-scale changes within the organization.
